3. Release the On/Off button (3) to stop
the tool. Note that the unit will keep trail-
ing for a while after releasing the control
lever.
4. Don't forget to interrupt the compressed
air supply and turen off the compressor
when you are done.
5. To maintain a correct speed of rotation,
check the unit's revolutions per minute
periodically and after every use, see
Setting and testing the unit's speed
[} 24].
4.5 Setting and testing the unit's speed
1. Check that the On/Off button has not
been pressed.
2. Connect the compressed air supply.
3. Carefully press the On/Off button and
increase the force until the unit runs at
full speed.
4. Monitor the speed and mind not to ex-
ceed the permissible maximum speed,
see chapter Technical data [} 17]. You
may use the air volume supplied to con-
trol the tool speed, as appropriate.

4.6 Setting and testing the unit's speed
1. Check that the On/Off button has not
been pressed.
2. Connect the compressed air supply.
3. Carefully press the On/Off button and
increase the force until the unit runs at
full speed.
4. Use a rev counter to monitor the speed.
4.7 Lubricating the unit
Periodically relubricate the compressed air
tools to prevent corrosion inside the unit.
To lubricate the unit:
1. Disconnect the tool from the com-
pressed air supply and hold it with the
air-in port facing up.
2. Specifications regarding the lubricant
and the required frequency of lubrica-
tion and lubricant quantity per lubrica-
tion cycle.
Lubricant type: Pneumatic oil for pneumatic
tools to ISO VG32
Lubricant volume: 1-2 drops of oil
1. Connect the tool to the compressed air
supply, cover the tool's air-out port with
a piece of cloth and allow the tool to run
for a couple of seconds.
5 Maintenance/cleaning
Use a dry cloth to clean the tool or its com-
ponents.
1. Prior to any servicing actions, discon-
nect the unit from the compressed air
supply.
2. Do not use solvents or acids, esters (or-
ganic compounds of acids and alcohol),
acetone (ketone), chlorinated hydrocar-
bon or oils containing nitrocarbonate for
cleaning. Do not use low-flashpoint
chemicals.
3. Replace the unit if out of balance due to
wear/damage.
