The ball bearing is in a housing and on a shaft at the same time
1. Choose the ball bearing puller and bearing adapter that
match the ISO number of the ball bearing.
2. Drill holes in the cage of the ball bearing on two op-
posing sides. Tip: If your bearing is sealed, we recommend
using our K-222-1/7 tool.
3. Screw the tension bolts of the pulling device onto the bearing adapter.
4. Insert the spherical parts of the bearing adapter between the inner and
outer rings of the bearing.
5. Tighten the tension bolts by turning them 90°.
6. Position the tension bolts in parallel.
7. Place the cross-beam on the tension bolts and secure it with nuts.
8. Screw the mechanical pressure screw into the cross-beam.
9. Tighten the spindle to apply pressure and remove the ball bearing from the
shaft. Use a suitable drive tool (standard wrench or torque wrench).
