USING THE HIGH PRESSURE HOSE
The high pressure hose features an outer covering that pro-
vides strength to the hose. If the outer covering becomes
damaged, the hose must be replaced immediately. Do not
use a high pressure hose if the outer covering is dam-
aged. To prevent damage to the outer covering:
 Inspect the hose before every use.
 Fully unwrap and straighten hose before use.
 Do not allow the high pressure hose to be kinked.
 Keep hose away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
 Do not pull unit by high pressure hose.
 Do not allow hose to be crushed or wrapped around
objects.
USING THE NOZZLES
See Figure 13.
Before starting any cleaning job, determine the best nozzle
for the job. Apply detergent using the soap (black) nozzle.
The 25˚ nozzle is for general purpose or large surfaces and
the turbo nozzle gives up to 50% more cleaning power.
CAUTION
:
NEVER change nozzles without locking the lock-out on
the trigger handle.
 Turn off the pressure washer and shut off the water sup-
ply. Pull trigger to release water pressure.
 Engage the lock-out on the trigger handle by pushing up
on the lock-out until it clicks into the slot.
 Push the nozzle into the quick-connect collar until it clicks
in place and is secured properly.
To disconnect a nozzle from the trigger handle once
the cleaning job is complete:
 Turn off the pressure washer and shut off the water sup-
ply. Pull trigger to release water pressure.
 Engage the lock-out on the trigger handle by pushing up
on the lock-out until it clicks into the slot.
 Remove the nozzle by placing hand over nozzle then
pulling back the quick-connect collar. Place nozzle in the
nozzle storage area on the top of the machine.
OPERATION
OPERATING THE PRESSURE WASHER
See Figure 14.
Use only detergents designed for pressure washers. Many
detergents may require mixing prior to use. Prepare cleaning
solution as instructed on the solution bottle.
To clean:
 Pour detergent in the detergent tank.
 Install the soap nozzle on the spray wand.
 Start the pressure washer and spray the detergent on
a dry surface using long, even, overlapping strokes. To
prevent streaking, do not allow detergent to dry on the
surface.
To rinse:
 Using the 25˚ nozzle, spray away from the rinsing surface
for approximately 10 seconds to allow any remaining
detergent to be flushed from the line.
 Start at the top of the area to be rinsed and work down,
overlapping the strokes.
USING THE CLEANING DECK
See Figure 14.
 Start the pressure washer.
 Walk slowly behind the cleaning deck, cleaning as you
go.
NOTE: If striping or swirling occurs, slow your pace.
If problem continues, see Troubleshooting later in this
manual.
CAUTION:
Striking any raised obstacle which using with the clean-
ing deck will damage the unit. If contact does occur and
causes vibration when operating the pressure washer,
stop and replace the spray bar. Continuing to operate
the unit without replacing the spray bar could result in
serious injury or damage to the unit.
NOTE: See figure 15 for the location of the spray bar.
MOVING THE PRESSURE WASHER
To move the pressure washer:
 Turn the pressure washer off. Point nozzle in a safe direc-
tion and pull trigger to release water pressure.
 Store the spray wand in the cleaning deck.
 Tilt the machine toward you until it balances on the wheels
then roll the machine to the desired position.
