2.3.3 Danger of Fire
WARNING
There is a danger of fi re due to the ignition of the content in the
event the device is not used properly. Adhere to the following
safety instructions in order to avoid a risk of fi re:
 Never use the device to store or dry fl ammable materials.
 The appliance is only intended for heating food and drinks.
Drying food or clothing and heating pads, slippers, sponges,
damp rags and the like may cause injury, ignition or fi re.
 Supervise the heating of food in plastic or paper containers
continuously as there is a possibility of ignition. Disposable
plastic containers must have the properties listed under
„Notes on microwave cookware".
 If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the appliance and
keep the door closed to smother any fl ames that may occur.
 Do not cook/heat the food for too long. Switching on for too
long will cause the food to dry out and possibly self-ignite.
There is a risk of fi re.
 Do not heat pillows and similar items fi lled with grains, cherry
pits or gel in the appliance. They may ignite even if they are
removed from the appliance after heating. Fire hazard!
 When preparing food with alcoholic beverages, be aware that
alcohol evaporates at high temperatures and can ignite on hot
surfaces. Never heat alcohol in an undiluted state. Fire hazard!
2.3.4 Danger of Explosion
WARNING
There is a danger of explosion due to excess pressure that is
created in the event the device is not used properly. Observe
the following safety notices to avoid dangers of an explosion:
