Skilled personnel
Skilled personnel are understood to be personnel who, based on their technical training,
knowledge of measurement and control technology and on their experience and knowledge of
country-specific regulations, current standards and directives, are capable of carrying out the
GB
work described and independently recognising potential hazards.
Special operating conditions require further appropriate knowledge, e.g. of aggressive media.
2.3 Additional safety instructions for instruments with ATEX approval
WARNING!
Non-observance of these instructions and their contents may result in the loss of
explosion protection.
WARNING!
Thermometers with EEx d approval should only be opened once the power has been
disconnected fo at least 2 minutes.
WARNING!
Follow the requirements of the 94/9/EC (ATEX) directive.
Follow the respective national regulations concerning Ex-usage (e.g. EN 60 079-10
and EN 60 079-14).
