2.1.7. non-planed surfaces, shade variations, wane and pith knots on floor and roofing
boards, provided that the boards can be installed in such a way that these defects are not
visible after finishing (e.g. by turning the boards);
2.1.8. presence of finger-jointed details in the walls, doors or windows of the Product.
2.2. Additionally, the Warranty does not cover defects found in the Product that are caused by:
- incompetent or incomplete assembly or improper or substandard foundation;
- improper storage, handling, maintenance or use of the Product, its parts or materials by
Customer;
- modifications of the Product or any part thereof without the prior written consent of Palmako;
- too rigid fastening of storm strip or rails, screwing of door frames or trims to wall elements,
etc., which prevents the wooden elements from expanding and shrinking normally;
- failure to protect the Product against weather conditions (e.g. by means of anchors, fastening
strips, etc.);
- humans, animals or forces of nature, such as wind of force 7 or above on Beaufort scale,
natural disasters or other events with destructive external effects (such as lightning,
thunderstorm or tornado);
- inappropriate choice or improper installation of the roofing material (incl. failure to consider
the load-bearing capacity of the roof of the Product), as well as inadequate insulation of the
base of shingles or roofing felt during roof construction;
- storage of the unassembled Product by Customer for more than one year;
- spare parts, supplementary parts or other accessories used with the Product that are not
original Palmako parts and/or that have not been authorized in writing by Palmako.
2.3 The Warranty does not cover garden cabins wall leakages caused by rain and sidewind.
2.4. The Warranty will automatically become null and void and all Warranty claims will be rejected if:
2.4.1. the Customer has failed to properly check the quantity, completeness, and quality of the
Product upon receipt, if the defect in the Product could have been discovered in the course of
a reasonably thorough inspection. Customer is required to check the quantity, completeness
and quality of the Product as soon as possible after receipt of the Product, but in any event
before starting assembly;
2.4.2. the Customer has failed to inform the reseller or Palmako in good time of the defect in
the Product, but not later than seven (7) calendar days after the Customer discovered or should
have discovered the defect;
2.4.3. the Customer has used the Product for commercial / non-residential purposes, including
leasing or renting to third parties;
2.4.3. the Customer has provided false information to the Seller in connection with the Product
or Warranty claim.
3.
Procedure for filing Warranty complaints
3.1. Filing a complaint. In case of a Warranty claim, customer must contact the U.S. or Canadian
reseller from whom the Product was purchased, immediately, but not later than seven (7) days
after the defect first occurred, was first discovered, or reasonably should have been discovered.
All Warranty complaints regarding the Products have to be filed with the reseller in writing or by
e-mail and be accompanied by the following mandatory data and documents:
name or code and identification number of the Product (these appear on the label of the

Product's packaging and on the inspection sheet attached to the assembly manual, in the
form: PE-...);
a copy of the inspection sheet attached to the Product assembly manual, accompanied by
2)
the Customer's description of the problem and suggestions for resolving the situation, the
Customer's name and contact details;
a copy of the specification sheet(s) for the parts of the Product on which the Customer has
3)
indicated the position numbers and quantities of the problem parts;
