After turning on the Oxygen Concentrator, you can begin breathing from the
device immediately; however, allow at least 10 minutes for oxygen delivery to
reach defined specifications.

Adjust the flow to the prescribed setting by turning the knob on the top of the
flow meter until the ball is centered on the line marking the specific flow rate.

Be sure oxygen is flowing through the cannula. If it is not, refer to the
Troubleshooting section.
8.
Put the cannula on as directed by your home care provider.
9.
When not using the device, press the power switch to the Off [O] position.
Accessory Equipment
Accessories provided for use with the concentrator are to be specified for use at oxy-
gen flows of 1 to 10 liters per minute and a maximum pressure of 41 kPa.
The organization that provides this equipment to the patient for use is accountable
for ensuring the compatibility of the accessories used to connect the patient to the
oxygen concentrator to the requirements of ISO 80601-2-69. In order to meet the
requirements of ISO 80601-2-69, the accessory cannula must have a fire stop device
that stops fire and flow of oxygen to the patient.
Contact your home care provider if you have any questions concerning the use of
accessories.
