1. DESCRIPTION
The CONTROL CAD-REG regulator is designed to perform the electronic control and maneuver functions of the heat

recovery units of the CAD-COMPACT ECOWATT and CADB/T-HE-D ECOWATT series, without heat batteries.
2. LOCATION AND INSTALLATION
This equipment is not suitable for outdoor installation. Respect the limits of use indicated in the Technical Characteris-
tics section.
This equipment does not include electrical protections, these must be integrated by the electrical installer, complying
with the requirements established in the corresponding regulations of the country in which the installation is carried
out.
The maximum distance between the CONTROL CAD-REG and the regulated heat recovery unit is 20 meters, however it
is recommended that this distance be as short as possible in order to reduce possible effects of the environment on the
control signals. In the case of installing the CONTROL CAD-REG at a distance greater than 3 meters, it will be necessary
to extend the length of the temperature probes by means of a cable with a maximum section of 1 mm
To avoid interference that may affect the operation of the unit, it is recommended that the wiring be routed away from
electrical power lines, motors, refrigeration compressors, frequency inverters or the like.
This equipment complies with the Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations that are applicable to it.
The electrical wiring of the ventilation components (fans, pressure switch and sensors external) can be done with con-
ventional cable. However, when the equipment is installed in environments with a high level of electromagnetic distur-
bances, it may be necessary to use shielded cable or even shield the wiring with a metal tube.
