HOW TO OPERATE
BEFORE USING
Before using the crêpe maker, remove any packaging and check that the
cooking plate is clean and free of dust. If necessary, wipe over with a damp
cloth. For best results pour a teaspoon of cooking oil onto the cooking plate
and spread with an absorbent kitchen towel, wiping off any excess oil.
NOTE: When the appliance is heated for the first time, it may emit a slight smoke
or odor. This is normal and does not affect the safety of your appliance.
READY FOR USE
1.
Place the unit on a flat, level, heat resistant surface making sure it is not
in contact with a wall, corner, curtains or any other soft furnishings.
2.
Insert the plug into a working electrical outlet, with the thermostat control
set at minimum. The red power indicator and green ready indicator
lights will both illuminate.
3.
Turn the thermostat control to the desired setting, the green indicator
light will go out, indicating the cooking plate is heating up. When the
desired temperature is reached, the green ready light will illuminate to
indicate the plate has reached the correct cooking temperature.
4.
Once the green light is on, you can begin making
your crêpe. For best results, try using these techniques:
CAUTION: Cooking surface will be HOT. Wear gloves or oven mitts to avoid burns
For best results, use these techniques for cooking:
1.
Pour about 1/4 cup of crêpe batter onto the center of the Cooking Plate.
2.
After pouring, place the Batter Spreader in the center of the batter and spin the
Rotating Cook Plate using the Heat-Resistant Handles to create a circular shaped crêpe.
