There are three volume levels on the detector: Off - Medium - High.
Press the Volume button to cycle through the volume levels.
7. Detection Accuracy
There are two detection accuracy levels: Fine and Coarse. Coarse
accuracy is ±1/4", and fine accuracy is ±1/16". Press the Fine/Coarse
Detection Button to switch between the levels.
8. Maintenance
• Keep the detector, particularly the detecting window, clean. If unit
becomes dusty, use a clean cloth to gently wipe it clean.
• Avoid knocking the unit over or allowing it to fall to the ground.
• Although the detector is rain resistant, avoid submerging the unit
in water or other liquids. If unit comes into contact with water or
other liquids, wipe it dry immediately.
• Do not use unit around fire or expose it to fire in any way.
Using the Target
The target is used to enhance the laser
beam visibility. The target uses magnets
for easy mounting to ferrous surfaces in
either horizontal or vertical positions. It
has measurements in both English and
Metric scales (inches/cm). This item is for
use with red laser levels. (Figure 22)
