Using the Clamp
The clamp secures the detector to a grade rod.

Height Knob
1. To mount the clamp to a grade rod,
press the clamp release button and
pull the clamp knob out. (Figure 23)
2. Place a grade rod into the opening on
the back of the clamp. (Figure 24)
3. Press and hold the clamp release
button to close the clamp knob onto
the grade rod. Turn the clamp knob to
further tighten the clamp until secure.

4. Slide the detector onto the support
bracket until it snaps into place. Refer
to "Connecting to the Clamp" on
page 23.
