6.3 ENGINE OIL

Perform the procedure below to change the engine oil.
1.
Drain the oil while the engine is still warm.
2.
Turn off the oil filler cap and drain plug (a) to drain engine oil thoroughly. reinstall
the drain plug (a) and screw in securely.
Note: In the interest of environmental protection, place a plastic sheet and a container
under the machine to collect any liquid that drains off. Dispose of this liquid in
accordance with environmental protection legislation.
3.
Fill the specified engine oil up to the lower level mark (b).
4.
Reinstall the oil filler cap.
WARNING
Most used oil contains small amounts of materials that can cause cancer and other
health problems if inhaled, ingested, or left in contact with skin for prolonged periods of
time.
Take steps to avoid inhaling or ingesting used engine oil.
Wash skin thoroughly after exposure to used engine oil.
