Damaged charging cable – Danger to life due to electric
shock
The use of a damaged charging cable can result in death
or severe injury.
Check the charging cable for damage (e.g. cracks) prior
to each use.
Do not use a damaged charging cable.
Starting the charging process
Please take note of and follow the information
on the cover page – Figures 2 and 4.
Remove the protective cap.
Insert the charging cable.
Start charging the vehicle.
Ending the charging process
Once the vehicle is fully charged, stop the charging
process.
Please take note of and follow the information
on the cover page – Figures 3 and 4.
End the vehicle-side charging process.
Unplug the charging cable.
Attach the protective cap.
Properly store the charging cable in your vehicle.

Cleaning
The charging cable can be cleaned with a dry or damp
cloth, depending on application conditions and soiling.

shock
Touching live components can result in death or severe
injury.
Unplug the charging cable.
Protect plugs and receptacles from moisture and liq-
uids.
Do not use cleaning agents.
Clean the charging cable with a dry cloth or a cloth
slightly dampened with water.
Disposal
The charging cable must not be disposed of with house-
hold waste.
Use a public collection point for the recycling of used
electrical and electronic equipment.
If you have questions, contact your dealer or the waste
disposal company.
