Using the 2-wire head
Lengthening the cutting wire
If it is necessary to readjust the length of the cutting line, switch on the machine and lightly tap the
head on the ground several times until the required adjustment is obtained.
The excess wire is then cut by the blade located on the safety guard so that the length of the wire never
exceeds the radius of the guard.
Warning!!! The nylon thread will continue to spin for a few seconds after the machine is switched off.
Changing the spool of thread
The spool should be changed when it is empty or worn.
1. Stop the appliance and wait for the head to stop turning.
2. Turn the machine upside down, with the cutting thread facing upwards.
3. Hold the casing (C) firmly in one hand and with the other hand, remove the cover (A) by
pressing the opening buttons on either side.
4. Take the spool (B) out of the case and remove all the wire from the spool. Clean the case, then
insert a new spool of the same type.
5. Pass the ends of the wire through the holes in the housing (E). Push the spool in completely,
ensuring that the spring is correctly fitted.
6. Replace the cover, being careful to lock it in place.
7. Squeezing the head, pull on each end of the thread so that its length extends beyond the thread
cutter.
