AT THE END OF SERVICE
- Switch the heating off.
- Switch the burners off.
- Empty the well completely.
- Turn the knob to position "0".
12. USING THE ELECTRIC PASTA COOKER
The appliance is designed for boiling pasta, rice,
vegetables and similar foodstuffs in water.
The appliance is fitted with a pressure switch
which stops activation of heating in the event the
water in the well falls below the safety level
(approx. 12 cm).
To restore heating in the event the pressure
switch is tripped, top up the water level to the
minimum mark visible on the rear wall of the well.
While the fryer is on, the oil level must be
maintained in correspondence with or above the
minimun level mark indicated on the rear wall of
the well.
Use very fine grained salt, adding it to the well
when the water is boiling. Do not use
coarsegrained rock salt in the well.
At the end of each day, clean the well thoroughly
in order to prevent the formation of corrosive
deposits.
FILLING AND EMPTYING OF THE TANK
Filling
The control knob has the following positions:
OFF
WATER FILLING - RAPID FILLING
HALT WATER FILLING - ACTIVATE
HEATING
WATER FILLING - SLOW FILLING
Turn handle " H " of the drain valve anticlockwise.
The drain is completely closed only when the
handle is in the horizontal position.
Turn the knob to position " 1". Use position "3" to
top up water used during cooking. Water fills from
tap " E " located under the draining board.
Fill the well until the water is level with or above
the minimum level (bottom mark) indicated on the
rear wall of the well.
To halt filling, turn the knob to position "0" or "2".
Emptying
Turn the handle " H " of the drain valve clockwise.
The drain is completely open when the handle is in
the vertical position.
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
The energy regulator control knob has the
following positions:
OFF
MINIMUM POWER - HOLDING
INTERMEDIATE POWER - COOKING
MAXIMUM POWER
Switching on
Turn the energy regulator knob to any position
between "MIN" and "MAX".
The yellow indicator light switches on.
Turning off
Turn the energy regulator knob to position "Off".
The yellow indicator light switches off.
