PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Perform regular inspections on the machine to ensure efficient operation of the machine.
For thorough maintenance, we recommend that you take the machine to your Technical Service.
Always use original spare parts in order to obtain an adequate performance of the product and avoid damages
and risks to machine and/or user.
Carry out the following maintenance work as per the indicated frequency in the following table:
MAINTENANCE
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
Sparkplug
AIR FILTER
Check and clean dirt from the air filter as otherwise this will reduce machine performance.
If you notice filter damage or any abnormal condition, replace it with a new one.
To clean the filter:
1.
Remove the filter protection cap.
2.
Remove the filter.
3.
Dust/soil can be cleaned on the outside of the filter by shaking it off against a hard surface.
4.
Clean the filter with soapy water.
5.
Rinse the filter with plenty of clean water.
6.
Allow the filter to dry.
7.
Once dry moisten it with 2 drops of oil (Do not wet it too much or the engine will not start)
8.
Install the filter in the machine.
9.
Put the protective cap on.
NOTE: The engine must never run without the air filter installed.
FUEL FILTER
The fuel tank is equipped with a filter. It is located at the end of the fuel suction pipe and can be removed with
the help of a hook-shaped wire.
Check the fuel filter periodically. Do not allow dirt to enter the fuel tank to prevent the filter from getting dirty.
A dirty filter will make it more difficult to start the engine and will cause operation irregularities or stoppage of
the motor.
Check the fuel. If you notice dirt, replace it.
If the inside of the fuel tank is dirty you can clean it with gasoline.
SPARK PLUG CHECK
The most common problems when starting a machine are produced by a dirty spark plug or in
poor condition. Clean the spark plug and check it regularly. Check that the distance between
electrodes is correct (0.6 - 0.7mm).
ENGINE VENTILATION CONDUCTS
Remove dirt from the ventilation conducts, in order to avoid damage to the engine and/or a
possible fire.
