If the workpiece has a thickness of
>25 mm, mill 2 grooves on top of
each other. This doubles the stability of
the connection.
4. Fix ⭮ the locking screw for the height
adjustment (14).
Adjusting the angle stop
Notes
• The angle stop (15) can be adjusted
continuously (0-90°) to be able to mill
grooves with different angles.
• The angle stop also features engage-
ment positions: 20°/45°/70°
Procedure
1. Pull out the device plug out of the
power outlet.
2. Loosen ⭯ the locking screw for the
angle adjustment (11).
3. Tilt the angle stop (15) until the desired
angle is set on the angle adjustment
scale (10).
4. Fix ⭮ the locking screw for the angle
adjustment (11).
Operation
Switching on and off
Notes
• Make sure that the mains supply
voltage matches the voltage rating in-
dicated on the tool type plate.
• Always hold the tool with both hands
during work for better control. Hold the
handle (8) with one hand and the addi-
tional handle (2) with the other hand.
• Always keep your hands away from
the milling area and router blade (26).
Switching on
1. Connect the device to the power sup-
ply.
2. Slide the on/off switch (3) forward
and press it down at the front to lock it.
3. Check that the attachment tool is run-
ning smoothly. If not: Replace the at-
tachment tool.
4. Wait until the tool has reached full ro-
tational speed.
5. Guide the attachment tool against the
workpiece.
Switching off
1. Remove the attachment tool from the
workpiece.
2. Press the on/off switch (3) down at
the back. The on/off switch (3) jumps
back to the off position.
3. Wait until the power tool has stopped
before placing it down.
4. Pull the device plug out of the wall out-
let if you are leaving the device unat-
tended or if you have finished working.
Trial run
Carry out a trial run without load before
working for the first time and each time
after you change the attachment tool.
Switch off immediately if the attachment
tool is not rotating smoothly, if consider-
able vibration occurs, or if you hear ab-
normal noises.
Working instructions
Scribing a workpiece
Before you start working, the workpiece
must be scribed as follows:
Procedure (Fig. E)
1. Place both workpieces next to each
other.
2. Use a pencil (not included) to draw a
line at right angles (90°) to the joint.
This line represents the centre of the
milling.
NOTICE! For larger workpieces, sev-
eral joints are required. The distance
between two lines should be ≥ 10 cm.
If you want to mill more than 1 groove,
distribute the centres evenly.
