Use the starter only to the extent necessary for the job. Excessive engine speed is unnecessary.

Avoid cutting thick branches as they may damage the blades and shorten the life of the appliance.
•
Tilting the hedge trimmer 5 to 10° towards the cutting object will make the job easier.
•
Always keep your body on the side of the carburetor, never on the side of the muffler.
•
When using the machine for the first time, grass may come out of the transmission during the first few minutes.
But since it's leftover weed, it's no cause for alarm. Simply remove it with the motor stopped before the next use.
