Resetting the pressure sensor zero
point
Over time, the pressure sensors' zero point may
i
shift. If the offset becomes excessive, the mes-

shown during the test. The magnetic stud can be
used to return to the original zero point. The mag-
netic stud is supplied with the pressure sensors.
1. Make sure the pressure sensor is not under pressure.
2. Touch the magnetic stud to the position marked by
the symbol on the pressure sensor for 5 s.

Changing the adapter
Ensure cleanliness when working on sealing compo-
!
nents. Particles on the sealing surfaces may damage
the pressure sensor.
Do not re-use sealing cones. Always use a new seal-
!
will be
ing cone when changing the adapter.
1. On the pressure sensor, remove the old adapter
along with the sealing cone.
2. Clean the sealing surfaces on the pressure sensor
and the new adapter.
3. Clean the sealing surfaces on the new sealing cone
(item 2).
4. Insert the clean sealing cone (item 2) into the pres-
sure sensor (item 3).
5. Screw the adapter (item 1) into the pressure sensor
(item 3), and tighten it.
