To Enjoy BD-LIVE with the TV
Playing Back a BD-LIVE
Compatible BD-VIDEO Disc
BD-LIVE data is saved in Local Storage (USB memory
device connected to the Disc Drive of the TV).
To enjoy BD-LIVE, use a USB memory device (2GB or
greater) supporting USB 2.0 High Speed (480Mbit/s).
•
If there is insuffi cient storage space, the data will not be
copied/downloaded. Delete unneeded data (see page 8) or
use a new USB memory device.
•
If a USB memory device containing other data (previously
recorded) is used, the video and audio may not play back
properly.
CAUTION
•
Do not use a USB extension cable when connecting a USB
memory device to the BD STORAGE/SERVICE terminal on
the Disc Drive of the TV.
•
Using a USB extension cable may prevent the Disc Drive
from performing correctly.

Connect your TV to the Internet and perform the
communication settings.

Insert the USB memory device into the BD
STORAGE/SERVICE terminal on the Disc Drive of
the TV.

Insert the BD-LIVE compatible BD-VIDEO disc into
the disc slot.

Operate by following the directions on the screen.

The time required to download the provided programs
into the USB memory device connected to the TV varies
depending on the Internet connection speeds and the
data volume of the programs.
•
The available functions differ depending on the disc.
•
The BD-LIVE operation methods and contents displayed
vary depending on the programs provided through the
Internet.
•
BD-LIVE programs provided through the Internet may not
be able to display the connection depending on the status
(updating) of the provider. In such cases, take out the disc
and try again.
•
If the USB memory device is disconnected from the BD
STORAGE/SERVICE terminal on the Disc Drive of the TV
during playback of BD-LIVE data, playback of the disc will
stop.
•
SHARP cannot guarantee that all brands' USB memory
devices will operate with the TV.
•
Only USB memory devices formatted with FAT 32/16 are
compatible.
