1. Prepare 6-9 cl of leak detection solution by mixing 1 quart of washing-up liquid
with 3 quarts of water.
2. Make sure that all control knobs are in the OFF position.
3. Connect the regulator to the gas tank. Do not attempt to place the gas tank under the
cart unless instructed to do so.
4. After ensuring that the connection is secure, open the gas tank completely.
5. Brush and clean the following parts with soapy water:
-
the gas tank valve
-
the regulator
-
hoses and hose connections
-
valves
-
welds or seams on the gas tank
Important: If bubbles appear, there is a gas leak. In this case, close the gas tank valve
immediately.
6. If there is a leak, turn on all gas connections again and repeat the procedure (step 2
to step 6). After the leak test, close the gas tank valve.
7. Remove the control knobs.
8. If the leakage persists, do not try to solve the problem yourself. Please consult your
gas supplier.
Switching off the stove
1. Turn off the control valve when the cooking is finished.
2. When the last flame is extinguished, wait 5 minutes to let the cooker cool down.
3. Check that the burners are switched off before detaching the gas refill.
4. Remove the valve from the gas stove.
5. Storage rack. Never leave the stove in the rain, it should be stored in a cool and dry
place.
6. Keep the entire stove away from sources of ignition and unscrew the gas cylinder.
Place the entire stove away from ignition sources and remove the gas cylinder.
While unscrewing, a small amount of gas may escape.
If the gas cylinder is empty, follow the laws on recycling and waste disposal. Refer to your
local government for details..
Warning: Always separate the stove from the propane cylinder before storing it. Failure to
remove the gas cylinder before storage can result in a gas leak and fire, burns, serious injury
or death. Always store gas cylinders in a well-ventilated area, away from any potential
source of heat or ignition, including: water heaters, stove or oven pilot lights, or where the
temperature exceeds 49°C. Storage cylinders near sources of heat or ignition where the
temperature exceeds 49°C may cause an explosion resulting in fire, burns, serious injury or
death.
