GENERAL
RECOMMENDATIONS
1.
The owner's responsibility
is to maintain this product. This will
extend the life of the product and is also necessary to maintain
warranty coverage.
2.
Check the spark plug, drive brake, lubricate the unit, and clean
the air filter once a year.
3.
Check the fasteners. Make sure all fasteners are tight.
4.
Follow the Maintenance and the Service And Adjustment sec-
tion to keep the unit in good operating condition.
WARNING:
Before you make an inspection, adjust-
ment, or repair to the unit, disconnect the wire to the
spark plug. Remove the wire from the spark plug to
prevent the engine from starting by accident.
CHECK
THE TIRES
Check the air pressure in the tires. Tires with too much air pressure
will cause the unit to ride rough. Also, the wrong air pressure will
keep the mower housing from cutting level. The correct air pressure
(PSt) is as follows. Semi-pneumatic
front tires do not require air.
Front Tires
22 PSI (1.5 BAR)
Rear Tires
14 PSI (1 BAR)
