Follow basic safety precautions, including:
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from eight years and above and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or lack of experience
or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or instructed how to use the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning, operating,
maintenance or connecting the appliance to the power supply should not be made
by children under the age of eight.
2. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF BABIES AND CHILDREN – Keep the appliance and its cord out
of the reach of children during use.
3. This appliance is not a toy. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
4. Don't use the appliance for any purpose other than those described in these
instructions.
5. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
6. Don't put the appliance in liquid, don't use it in a bathroom, near water, or outdoors.
7. Keep the appliance and the cable away from hotplates, hobs or burners.
8. Route the cable so it doesn't overhang, and can't be tripped over or caught.
9. Keep fingers, hair, clothing and children utensils clear of the beaters/hooks.
10. Switch off the appliance before changing accessories or approaching parts which
move in use.
11. Don't leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
12. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before
assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
13. Don't let anything enter the vents.
14. Don't fit any attachment or accessory other than those we supply.
15. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock or injury.
16. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
17. Don't use the appliance if it's damaged or malfunctions. If the mains lead is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service agent or
similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid hazards.
