2) Press the shutter button halfway to focus
the subject in the AF frame. The green
lamp lights up steadily when the subject is
in focus.
"If the green lamp blinks slowly (4 times/
second), you are too close to the subject.
Move at least 0.65 m (2.1 ft.) away from
the subject and refocus.
* If the green lamp blinks rapidly (16 times/
second) in the Flash OFF mode, the shut-
ter speed will be too slow for hand-held
photography. Use the flash or place the
camera on a tripod to ensure sharp re-
sults.
