1. Focus Lock
Although Smart AF focuses most subjects,
use Focus Lock for subjects extremely small,
extremely off-center,or if the camera is to be
positioned vertically.
1) Center the AF frame over the subject and
press the shutter button halfway. The
green lamp lights steadily to indicate Focus
Lock.
2) Keeping the shutter button pressed half-
way (green lamp remains lit), recompose
the picture as desired and then press the
shutter button completely down to take the
picture.
