MAINTENANCE
WARNING: all work must only be done after first cutting power via the main switch and after
removing the plug. By removing the cover from the burner it is possible to carry out the fol-
lowing checks and cleaning tasks.
PHOTORESISTOR
Remove and clean the sensor carefully. Use a clean, dry cloth. When replaced make sure it
is properly attached.
NOZZLE
Remove the high voltage wires on the transformer side and the photo-resistor, unscrew the
coupling and the other coupling on the fuel pump. Unscrew the cover attachment screws and
extract the nozzle holder set by rotating the cover anticlockwise. Remove the high voltage
wires on the electrodes, loosen the holder lock screw, remove the diffuser/electrodes holder
and then unscrew the nozzle. To clean the nozzle thoroughly disassemble the filter and clean
the slots and the spray hole with petrol. Never use tools which might damage internal surfa-
ces.
FUEL PUMP FILTER
Close the fuel aspiration gate, remove the pump cover, take out the mesh cartridge, wash it
with petrol and re-assemble carefully.
ELECTRODES - DEFLECTOR SETTING
After having installed the nozzle, check the correct position of the electrodes and deflector
according to the following levels. It is adviseable to check levels after every intervention on
