• Tilt sensor – The Bon Home Culinary Heat Lamp™ features an
automatic shut-off triggered if the lamp base is tilted beyond 30
degrees. WARNING: Power will continue to be supplied to the
convenience outlet.
• Head positioning – The heat lamp features an insulated handle which
allows users to safely raise and lower the head of the lamp. Lowering
the head will increase the temperature of your food while raising it will
decrease it.
• Disconnect plug from power outlet prior to cleaning the heat lamp. Wait
until the heat lamp has cooled to ambient temperature prior to handling
hot surfaces.
• Wipe outside surfaces with a soft damp cloth or sponge. Do not use
excessive amounts of water or any abrasive cleaners since they may
permanently damage the heat lamp's finish.
• Dry immediately after wiping with a soft cloth or paper towel.
• Do not attempt to clean or dislodge items from the heating coil under
any circumstances.
• Do not immerse any part of the heat lamp in water.
• Never spray water at any part of the heat lamp. Always spray into cloth
and then wipe.
• In the case that one of the hinges on the Heat Lamp becomes loose,
use a coin or a flat screwdriver to tighten the hinge using the slot
provided in each. CAUTION: Unplug the Heat Lamp before adjusting
and testing the hinges' performance. Do not operate until hinges are
able to hold the weight of the head of the lamp without assistance.
