IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
• CAUTION: Do not immerse in water/liquid – Ne pas immerger. To
protect against electrical shock do not immerse the cord, plug or
any other part of this product in water or other liquid. This product
is not to be operated after being immersed in water or other liquid.
Make sure there is no water or other liquids on the product before you
power the unit.
• CAUTION: To ensure continued protection against electric shock
this product is to be connected to a grounded, three-prong power out-
let. Do not remove or modify the cable or the connector. If the plug
does not fit fully into the outlet, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to modify the plug in any way.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
• To avoid the risk of electrical shock or injury, do not insert any
objects into the head of the lamp.
• Avoid extended exposure of skin tissue under the heat lamp as it
may cause burns.
• A short power supply cord or extension cord should be used to
reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord. Longer extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their
use. The extension cord should be a grounding-type three-wire cord.
If a detachable power supply cord or extension cord is used: a) The
marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; and b) The
cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter-
top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. A thermally insulated handle is provided
on the lamp's head to facilitate repositioning.
• Allow sufficient time in the "OFF" condition for cooling before
handling and storing the heat lamp.
• Do not damage or tamper with the finish on any of the surfaces on
the product. These were designed to withstand the conditions under
which the unit operates and any changes may result in a fire or damage.
