Grille Painting and Scrim Precautions
Decorative Scrim
• A decorative fabric scrim is attached to the grille of your speakers.
• A
wax paper sheet is used to protect the scrim during shipping.
• Please remove the wax paper sheet before installing the grille in
your speaker.
Painting Your Speaker Grille
• The scrim must be removed prior to painting the grilles.
• Use the wax paper to store the scrim during painting, and keep the
scrim clean and dry.
• The scrim is attached to the grille with pressure sensitive adhesive.
• When reinstalling the scrim, use the wax paper (shiny side towards
the scrim) to press firmly and evenly over the entire surface
of the scrim.
