VRiSub82 Grille Installation
Please revievv the follovving instructions before installing and removing the grille.
Due to the sound pressure produced by the VRiSub82, ten strips of PSA tape
(pressure sensitive adhesive) have been applied to the outer perimeter of the grille to
maintain the mechanical integrity of the grille and speaker.
1. The grille can be installed and removed easily while the backing is still on the PSA tape.
2. When the grille is ready to be installed for the final time, peel the paper backing off of all ten
PSA tape strips prior to inserting the grille into the trim.
3.
If the grille needs to be removed after the PSA backing paper has been peeled off, gently work
the grille out along the perimeter in gradual steps to avoid b.ending the grille.
IMPORTANT PAINT NOTE:
If you plan to paint the grille, do not remove the PSA backing paper,
until the grille is painted. If paint gets on the PSA tape surface, then the tape will need to be
replaced.
