• If the
symbol appears, the weather station automatically
changes the channel display every 5 seconds. As soon as the
required channel is displayed, press the CH button (G) again
to store it.
• To change the channel on the measuring station, open the
battery compartment and set the channel switch (39) to the same
channel as the base station.
7.3 Automatic setting according to the DCF signal
• After successful transmission of the indoor and outdoor
temperatures between the measuring and base stations, the
weather station (after around 3 minutes) automatically starts
searching for a DCF signal. During the search process, the DCF
radio signal (2) ashes and the display goes dark.
• When the radio signal is received, the date and time are set
automatically. This can take a further 10 minutes.
Note
Language and time zone are preset to Germany.
Note - setting the time
• If no DCF radio signal is received within the rst few minutes
of the initial setup procedure, the search is terminated. The
radio symbol disappears.
• In the event of reception problems, we recommend leaving
the clock standing overnight since the interference signals are
generally fewer in number at this time.
• Meanwhile, you can carry out a manual search for the DCF
radio signal at a different location or set the date and time
manually.
• The clock automatically continues to search for the DCF radio
signal daily (01:00, 02:00, 03:00, 04:00 and 05:00). Once
the signal is received successfully, the manually set time and
date are overwritten
If the weather station does not receive the DCF signal, press the
RCC button (F) for at least 3 seconds to start the signal search
again. The radio symbol ashes during the search and the display
goes dark. If a signal is still not received after that, the time and
date must be set manually.
7.4 Manual setting of the time, date and units
• Press and hold the SET button (A) for around 3 seconds to carry
out the following settings in sequence:
• Year
• Display "Month/ Day" (M/D) or "Day/ Month" (D/M)
• Month (M)
• Day (D)
• Time zone (0-12, default "0" for CET)
• Hours
• Minutes
• 12/24-hour format
• Language (GER= German, FRE= French, ENG= English, RUS=
Russian, ITA= Italian, DAN= Danish,
DUT= Dutch, SPA= Spanish)
• Switching the DCF signal on/off (ON/OFF)
• To select the individual values, press the arrow keys  (B) or 
(C). Con rm the selection by pressing the SET button (A).
• Press the SET button (A) to adopt and skip the displayed value.
If no entries are made for 20 seconds, the clock automatically
exits settings mode.
Note - time zone
• The DCF signal can be received in many places, however it
does not always correspond to the CET applicable in Germany.
You should therefore remember to take into account the time
difference in countries with a different time zone.
• Moscow, for example, is 3 hours ahead of Germany. Set the
time to the time zone +3. The clock will then automatically set
itself 3 hours ahead of the time received from the DCF signal
or the time set manually.
7.5 Maximum and minimum temperature and humidity
values
• The base station automatically stores the maximum and minimum
temperature values in the outdoor and indoor areas.
• Repeatedly press the  button (B) to switch from the current
temperature to the maximum temperature (MAX) and then to the
minimum temperature (MIN).
• The maximum and minimum temperatures are displayed for 5
seconds.
7.6 Highest and lowest outdoor temperature values alarm
• Press the ALERT button (E) to activate the alarm mode. The
alarm symbol (15) appears on the display.
• Now press and hold the ALERT button (E) until the outdoor
temperature (11) starts ashing.
• The temperature display ashes for around 20 seconds. Pressing
the arrow keys (B) or (C) allows you to rst set the maximum
and then the minimum value. At the maximum value the upper
arrow in the alarm symbol (15) ashes, at the minimum value
the lower arrow.
• To scroll rapidly through the values, hold the arrow key down
until the desired value is reached.
• By pressing the ALERT button (E) again, you can select the
respective value.
• When a maximum or minimum value is reached, the outdoor
temperature display ashes and a 5-second alarm sounds every

To do this, press the ALERT button (E) once, the alarm symbol
(15) is now no longer displayed.
