ATTENTION!
Check the tool before starting work and make sure that the main switch is working properly.
The scissors should stop when the trigger is released. Do not use the scissors if the switch is
malfunctioning. Check that the battery voltage matches the power of the tool.
Conditions of use
- Keep the ambient temperature between 4°C and 40°C during the reloading phase.
- Keep the tool temperature between -10°C and 50°C during use
- Do not use in an explosive atmosphere or near flammable materials or liquids.
- Do not use in case of rain, or on wet branches.
Initial working process
Turning on the pruning shears
Install the lithium battery. Press and hold the power switch for three seconds until you hear the double
beep. The scissors are now ready for use.
Activating the cut
Once the pruning shears have been turned on, press the trigger twice in succession to activate it and
start using the shears.
Before starting to work with the machine, press the latch several times and observe how the blade wor-
ks. If you detect any strange phenomena (sound, abnormal and non-progressive speed); keep pressing
until its operation is normalized.
Activation of the "blade closed" standby mode"
For your safety, the appliance has a "standby mode", which closes the scissors blades and deactivates the
cutting function.
To put the scissors in standby mode: press the trigger continuously. You will hear a first beep. Keep pres-
sing the trigger until you hear a subsequent double beep. The scissors will be closed.
To deactivate the standby mode and activate cutting: Press the trigger twice. The scissors are now ready
for use.
Selection of opening mode.
You can change the cutting size of the scissors according to your needs.
Press the trigger continuously. After a few seconds you will hear a beep, but you should keep pressing
until you hear two more beeps. When you have heard them, you can release and the diameter of the
cutting opening has been changed.
Progressive cutting activation. Models GY3202PS - GY3202PSS and GY4002PS - GY4002PSS
Progressive cutting allows greater control over the cut, as the cut changes according to the pressure you
exert on the trigger.
To activate or deactivate this function: with the scissors off, press and hold the trigger. Turn on the scis-
sors without releasing the trigger, wait about 6 seconds until you hear a beep. Once the beep has been
heard, the progressive mode will have been activated or deactivated.
