6. The battery should be replaced if the battery life becomes insufficient. Use only original batteries
supplied by the manufacturer.
7. Keep safety rules and environment protection information in mind all the time.
Battery charging procedure
1. Recharge in a closed environment at a temperature between +10°C and 22°C (+59°F and 68°F).
2. Correctly connect the battery to the charger connection.
3. Connect the battery charger to the socket.
4. Make sure that the correct charger is used for the battery before starting to charge.
5. The red LED on the battery charger indicates that charging is in progress, the green LED indicates that
the battery is fully charged. The average charging time is 1.5-2 h (GY2802PS - GY2802PSS) and 2-2.5 h
(GY3202PS - GY3202PSS and GY4002PS - GY4002PSS).
6. Disconnect the connector from the battery charger at the end of charging.
7. Ensure that the battery is recharged at least every 3 months during storage periods.
9. CHARGE LEVEL INDICATORS
Tool battery level
Models GY 2802PS - GY 2802PSS and GY 3202PS - GY 3202PSS
To determine the battery charge level, these two models have a LED display. When the green light is
illuminated, the battery capacity is adequate for operation.
Models GY 3202PS- GY 3202PSS and GY 4002PS - GY 4002PSS
These two models integrate a digital display (point 5) where you can see the percentage of battery level
of the scissors.
Battery charge status (charger)
ATTENTION!
Make sure your charger is in good condition. Check that there is no dust or dirt on the connector and,
if so, clean it and make sure it is dry.
