4.2 Processing step with the guide rail
To work with the guide rail F, proceed as follows:
1.
Place the guide rail F onto the workpiece.
2.
Insert a lever clamp at the front and back into
the guide rail F.
3.
Align the guide rail F on the workpiece.
4.
Fasten the workpiece with the two lever
clamps.
5.
Place the machine onto the guide rail F so that
the guide web of the rail engages in the groove
of the base plate.
6.
Turn on the machine and push it evenly forward
on the guide rail F.
7.
Turn off the machine and wait until the saw
blade is standing still.
8.
Take the machine off the guide rail F.
Warning
Risk of injury due to open saw guard!
If the machine is pushed beyond the material along the guide rail F, the pivoting
guard cannot close automatically as it rests on the guide rail F. The pivoting guard
can only close automatically when the machine is lifted off the guide rail F.
Turn off the machine. Wait until the sawblade is standing still. Now take the

machine off the guide rail F.
