7.2 Replacing the non-slip profile
Red non-slip profiles are attached to the underside of the guide rail F to protect it from slipping on the workpiece
to be processed.
To replace a non-slip profile, proceed as follows:
1.
Pull out the old non-slip profile.
2.
Use the accessory part F-HP 6.8M as new non-
slip profile and cut the non-slip profile to the
required length.
3.
Wet the new non-slip profile with soap water.
4.
Firmly press in the non-slip profile irregularly
with a block of wood so that the non-slip profile
is neither compressed nor expanded.
7.3 Storage
Clean the guide rails thoroughly if the guide rails will not be used for a longer period of time. Spray blank metal
parts with a rust-proofing agent.
