Insert the water tank back into the base unit until it clicks into position.
Warning!
•
Do not fill the water tank with hot water.
•
Do not use chemically treated or scented water.

Never add descaling, aromatic, alcoholic or detergent products into the

Iron with steam
CAUTION! Do not touch the soleplate, nor the hose as they will get very hot during
use.
WARNING! Do not use the steam iron to iron one particular area for long periods
of time as this will damage the fabric.
NOTE: When steam ironing for the first time, we recommend that you iron a plain
cloth first to test that the iron is working at the correct temperature. Ensure that
this is done without using the steam setting.
1.
Fill the water tank by following the instructions in the "Filling the water tank" section.
2.
Plug the iron into a mains power supply.
3.
To increase the temperature of the iron, rotate the temperature control dial in clockwise
direction until the required temperature is selected.
To reduce the temperature, rotate the temperature control dial in anticlockwise direction.
The temperature indicator light will illuminate to indicate that the iron is heating up. The
temperature indictor light will turn off when the iron reaches the desired temperature
and is ready to use.
NOTE: The iron will need to be set at a minimum of the 2-dot heat setting to
produce steam.
