To iron with steam, press and hold the steam button while ironing. The steam function
will switch off when releasing the steam button.

You can also push the steam lock forward for performing continuous steam ironing
without having to keep pressing and holding the steam button.
6.
After finish ironing, rotate the temperature control dial to the "Min." position.
7.
Unplug the iron from the mains power supply. Empty any remaining water from the water
tank and allow the iron to cool down before storing it.
NOTE: When the iron is not in use or you temporarily stop ironing, ensure that
the iron is rested and locked on the base unit.
Vertical steam ironing
1.
Hang up the item to be vertically steamed.
2.
Fill the water tank by following the instructions in the "Filling the water tank" section.
3.
Rotate the temperature control dial to set the temperature at a minimum of 2-dot heat
setting.
NOTE: The higher the temperature the more powerful the steam.
4.
Hold the iron approximately 20 cm away from the item. Then, press and hold the steam
button or push the steam lock for continuous steam release. The iron will work in short
bursts to remove any creases.
Ironing without steam
CAUTION! Do not touch the soleplate, nor the hose as they will get very hot during
use.
WARNING! Do not use the steam iron to iron one particular area for long periods
of time as this will damage the fabric.
NOTE:
•
When ironing for the first time, we recommend that you iron a plain cloth
first to test that the iron is working at the correct temperature. Ensure that
this is done without using the steam setting.

The water tank does not need to be filled to iron without steam. If the water
tank is filled with water, you can empty the water or leave the water as it is
so that the iron is ready for the next use with steam.
