1. WARNINGS
1. WARNING!
The rigid elements and plastic parts of an ECRS shall be located and installed in such a
way that, during everyday use of the vehicle, they cannot become trapped in a movable seat or in a
door of the vehicle.
2. WARNING!
All straps securing the restraint to the vehicle must be tight, all support legs must be in
contact with the vehicle floor, all straps or impact shields securing the child must be snug against the
child's body and the straps must not be twisted.
3. WARNING!
It is important to ensure that any lap strap is worn low.
4. WARNING!
The ECRS must be replaced when it has been subjected to violent stresses in an accident.
5. WARNING!
It is dangerous to make any alterations or additions to the device without the approval of
the Type Approval Authority, and it is also dangerous not to closely follow the installation instructions
provided by the ECRS manufacturer.
6. WARNING!
Ensure that children are not left alone in the ECRS.
7. WARNING!
Ensure that luggage or other objects that could cause injury in the event of a collision
are securely fastened.
8. WARNING!
Ensure that the ECRS is not used without the cover.
9. WARNING!
Ensure that the ECRS cover is not replaced with anything other than the manufacturer's
recommended cover, as the cover is an integral part of the restraint's performance.
10. WARNING!
Refer to the vehicle manufacturer's manual for the use of an 'Enhanced i-Size Child
Restraint System' .
11. WARNING!
The child restraint system may not fit in all approved vehicles if the child restraint system
is used when the child is taller than 135 cm.
