At this stage, a self-diagnosis is detected:
6. The engine trouble warning light (3) comes on,
7. The speedometer index (5) goes to full scale and then returns to zero.
8. The various segments of the fuel level (4) and battery voltage (6) go to
full scale and then return to their initial position.
9. If the engine cannot be started after the starting motor is running for 3-5
seconds, open the throttle (8) of 1/8 -1/4 turns and start again.
10. Push the scooter off its central stand.
11. Mount on the scooter.
12. Release the brake before riding.
CAUTION
If the engine will not start immediately, release the start button, wait a
few seconds and push it again. Each time push the start button for
just few seconds in order to save the battery. Never push the start
button more than 10 seconds.
•
Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, an extremely harmful
substance if inhaled.
•
Never start the engine in a closed or insufficiently ventilated space.
•
Failure to observe this warning could lead to unconsciousness
and even death to choking.
