Parking
It is very important to select an adequate parking spot, in compliance with road signals and the guidelines described below:
CAUTION
•
Park on safe and flat ground to prevent the vehicle falls.
•
Do not lean the vehicle against a wall or lay it on the ground.
•
Ensure that the vehicle and the parts which may become hot (engine, exhaust system, brake discs) are not a
hazard to persons or children. Do not leave your vehicle unattended with engine on or the key in the ignition switch.
•
If the vehicle falls or is on a steep incline, fuel can leak.
•
Fuel used for internal combustion engines is highly flammable and can become explosive under certain conditions.
Vehicle owners are warned that the law may prohibit the following:
• The removal of any device or element belonging to a new vehicle or any other action by anyone leading to render it
non-operating, if not for maintenance, repair, or replacement reasons, to control noise emission before the sale or delivery of
the vehicle to the ultimate buyer or while it is used.
• Using the vehicle after that device or element has been removed or rendered non-operating.
Check the exhaust system and the silencer pipes, make sure there are no signs of rust or holes and that the exhaust system
works properly.
• If you note an increase in exhaust noise, contact a F.B Mondial Official Dealer to check and repair it.
Technical changes to the scooter can lead to cancellation of the EC operating license.
NOTE
Do not tamper with the exhaust system.
