Thank you for choosing our slicer. Before using the appliance, and to ensure the best use,
carefully read these instructions.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of death, injury and electrical shock
when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with
the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and package. If applicable, pass these in-
structions on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and
accident-prevention measures when using an electrical appliance. We assume no liability for
customer failing to comply with these requirements.
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assem-
bling, disassembling or cleaning.
• This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach
of children.
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction con-
cerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or ap-
proaching parts that move in use.
• This appliance must be used with the sliding feed table and the piece holder in position
unless this is not possible due to the size or shape of the food.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Danger of injury: Care is needed when handling the blade, especially when removing the
blade for cleaning.
• Danger of electric shock: Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of mal-
function, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
Warning: During cleaning or operation do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in
water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.
• Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. It contains important
information for your safety as well as operating and maintenance advice.
• Observe all safety instructions to avoid damage because of improper use.
• Keep this instruction manual for future use. Should this appliance be passed on to a third
party, then this instruction manual must be included.
• No liability will be accepted for damage resulting from improper use or non-compliance
with these instructions.
• Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage
and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the appliance rat-
ing label.
• Never use a damaged appliance. Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet and
contact your supplier if it is damaged.
• To avoid damaging the cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges. Keep it away
from hot surfaces and open flames as well. Do not let the rotating blade touch the power
cord.
• Lay out the cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible.
• If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable for the power consumed by
