Intended use
The sun shade is suitable for pro-
viding protection against direct UV
radiation. It is not intended to pro-
vide protection against rain or snow.
The sun shade is intended for do-
mestic use only.
Setting up the shade
In the box, you will find:
Size-17 wrench
You will also need:
4 cement slabs
50 x 50 cm, each
weighing approx.
25 kg
1. Place the ground sleeve on the
frame and screw it in place (see
figure A).
2. Place the frame in the designat-
ed location.
3. Insert 4 cement slabs, each
weighing approx. 25 kg (see fig-
ure B).
4. Turn the lever aanticlockwise to
release the tension of the shaft
(see figure C).
5. Let the sun shade slide at least
10 cm into the bottom pole (see
figure C.) and turn it so that the
arm is located at the back above
the cement slabs (see figure D).
6. Tighten the lever a by turning it
clockwise (see figure D).
Opening the shade
Ensure that the sun shade is suffi-
ciently supported, i.e. that all 4 ce-
ment slabs are in place.
If necessary, remove the hook and
loop strip and protective sleeve.
1. Slightly pull the braces outwards
by hand (see figure E).
2. Turn the crank b clockwise un-
til the sun shade is complete-
ly open. Do not open the shade
too far (see figure F)!
3. Hook the tie strap c in (see fig-
ure G).
The help
Tilting the shade
of 1
You can tilt the sun shade to both
person
sides.
1. Turn the knob d anticlockwise to
completely loosen the two gear-
ings (see figure H).
2. Tilt the sun shade by hand (see
figure I).
3. Turn the knob d clockwise until
tight (see figure H).
Closing the shade
The sun shade must be closed in
the event of incoming wind, rain or
snow.
If the sun shade is tilted:
1. Loosen the knob d by turning it
anticlockwise. (see figure H).
