2. Place the sun shade in a hori-
zontal position.
3. Turn the knob d clockwise until
tight (see figure H).
4. Release the tie strap c (see fig-
ure G).
5. Hold the knob d.
6. Push the trip bracket e (see fig-
ure J).
7. Slowly pull down the arm.
8. Attach the hook and loop strip
supplied in order to protect the
sun shade against gusts of wind.
Slip over a protective sleeve to
protect it against dirt and bleach-
ing (see figure L).
Cleaning the cover
Remove the cover from the stand
for best results.
1. Close the sun shade (see fig-
ure G + H).
2. Pull the cover pockets g off of the
brace ends (see figure K).
3. Unscrew the shade tip f.
4. Take the cover off of the braces.
5. Clean the cover directly with
commercially-available plastic
cleaner in lukewarm water.
Comply with the manufacturer's
dosing, application and reaction
instructions.
Please note! The cover is not
suitable for machine washing!
6. Pull the wet cover back on and
screw the shade tip f on.
7. Slip the cover pockets g over the
brace ends h.

8 Open the sun shade and let the
cover dry thoroughly.
9. If necessary, close the sun shade
and attach the protective sleeve.
Care + storage
Clean the shade mast regularly to
ensure that the mobile parts slide
properly. If necessary spray with a
silicon or Teflon lubricant spray.
Check all load-bearing parts such
as braces, screws etc. regularly.
Over winter, dismantle the dry sun
shade and store it in a dry, well-ven-
tilated area.
At the start of the season ensure
that all components and fixings are
secure. If you are unsure, do not
use the product.
Warranty
The warranty period for this product
is 36 months.
If you discover a defect during this
time, please consult your vendor.
To ensure that the vendor is able
to promptly assist you, please keep
your sales slip and specify the mod-
el name and article number.
The warranty does not cover:
– Normal wear and tear and dis-
colouration of the textile cover;
– Damage to the paint coat attrib-
uted to normal wear and tear;
– Damage as the result of improp-
er use (e.g. for commercial use);
– Damage caused by wind, over-
winding the crank, the shade tip-
