Introduction
This manual provides guidelines for the installation and use of the
VETUS MPA34CANBS CAN-bus motor panel.

The panel has a built-in audible alarm and can be used as a single,
first or second, panel.
Check the supply voltage of your system and choose the
right panel:
MPA34CANBS2 - 12 Volt DC
MPA34CANBS4 - 24 Volt DC
The CAN bus supply voltage is always 12 volts.
The quality of the installation is decisive for the proper functioning of
the system. Almost all faults can be traced back to errors or inaccura-
cies during installation. It is therefore imperative that the steps given
in the installation instructions are followed in full during the installa-
tion process and checked afterward.
Unauthorised modifications shall exclude the liability of the manu-
facturer for any resulting damage.
Never work on the electrical system while it is energized.
Only work on the system with the engine stopped.
