complete freedom to switch between the view modes of
your choice during playback.
Interleave
As indicated, individual pictures from different cameras
are recorded in sequence on tape. (E.g. 1-2-3-4-5-1-2- 3-
4-5 etc.). In case an alarm is triggered for a specific cam-
era, the system will send extra pictures from that camera
to the Video Recorder. (E.g. 1-2-1-3-1-4-1-5-1- 2 etc.)
This alarm mode provides a more frequent refresh rate
and thus the video motion quality. In typical installa-
tions, the monitor alarm output is connected to the
Video Recorder alarm input, causing it to switch to
standard recording mode in alarm, and switching back
to time lapse mode after a certain amount of time. The
multiplex system handles these speed changes automati-
cally, and benefits from the increased Video Recorder
refresh rate.
When switching to playback the Video Recorder
demultiplex symbol will be displayed on screen.
Remark
When using time lapse video recorders, it may take a
while before all individual camera images are read from
tape and can be displayed on the monitor, either in
Multi-screen mode or as a full image. This especially
applies to time lapse settings with long interval times.
One by one you will see the camera images and system
information appearing on the monitor according to the
interval time used. Always use the same speed setting
for playback as for recording.
