DANGER
Rechargeable batteries
• Do not use other than the supplied cable with this product as doing so may cause a failure.
• Do not place in fire. Do not disassemble or heat.
• Do not use or store this product in direct sunlight or other excessively hot place, such as inside a car or
near a heater. This can cause batteries to leak, overheat, explode or catch fire. It can also reduce the life
or performance of batteries.
• Do not short circuit.
• Do not use batteries from which battery fluid has leaked.
When battery fluid leaks from rechargeable batteries
• Do not touch the battery fluid with bare hands.
• When battery fluid gets into the eyes, refrain from rubbing them, immediately rinse them thoroughly with
clean water, and then seek medical attention promptly.
• If battery fluid spills onto the body or clothes, immediately wash them sufficiently in clean water. Consult
a doctor if inflammation or injury of the skin occurs.
WARNING
• If charging does not complete even after the specified charging time, stop charging. Overcharging may
cause a fire, burn, injury, etc.
• If any of the following symptoms appear, immediately cease use of this product, turn power to OFF, and
consult your dealer:
– This product exhibits unnatural heating, smells, deformation, discoloration, etc.
– A foreign object enters this product.
• Do not wrap this product in a cloth or quilt, or use on top of a heated carpet. It may retain heat, the case
may deform, and result in fire.
• Do not pour water inside or wet this product. This may cause fire or electric shock. Be particularly careful
when using in rainy weather, during snowfall, at the beach, or beside water.
• Never inspect the inside or remodel this machine. If the customer remodels this machine, AlphaTheta
Corporation will no longer guarantee its performance.
CAUTION
• Please refrain from using this product for extended periods in close proximity to devices such as
spotlights that emit heat as this may have a negative effect on the product body.
• Do not use or store in locations that are exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not install this product permanently outside. Be sure to store this product inside after outdoor use.
• Avoid using this product for extended periods in windy, salt-laden environments such as coastal areas. If
you do use the product in such an environment, be sure to wipe it down thoroughly after use.
• Install the unit in a location with a solid, level floor.
• Avoid storing this product in an environment subject to a large range of temperatures.
• Do not play sine wave or narrow band noise with high output level. If not, speaker will be damaged.
• This product is provided with a power management function. If a state of no sound continues for a set
time (approximately 20 minutes) during use, the product automatically turns off the POWER indicator and
enters power off mode with low power consumption regardless of whether there is a wireless connection.
• If the product enters power off mode when there is a wireless connection, the wireless connection is
disconnected and the Pairing indicator also turns off.
• The product enters the Power-on mode if the Power button is pressed while in power off mode.
• This power management function can be disabled by using the power management switch.
• When pairing (connecting), move the wireless source device close to the speakers.
• Loud sound may be output when the playback operation is performed for the first time after connecting
completes so we recommend lowering the volume before playback.
• Connecting with the speakers may not be possible depending on the Bluetooth device.
• If you wish to pair the speakers with a different Bluetooth device, turn off the Bluetooth function of
the currently connected Bluetooth device or disconnect the connection before performing the pairing
operation.
• The speakers store the pairing information of up to eight Bluetooth devices, and attempt to connect to the
last paired device if the pairing button is pressed in the state of no connection with a Bluetooth device.
• In the event noise appears in your television image, there is the possibility that a Bluetooth device or this
unit (including products supported by this unit) are causing signal interference with the antenna input
connector of your television, video, satellite tuner, etc. In this event, increase the distance between the
antenna input connector and the Bluetooth device or this unit (including products supported by this unit).
• If there is something obstructing the path between this unit (including devices supported by this unit)
and the device equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology (such as a metal door, concrete wall, or
insulation containing tinfoil), you may need to change the location of your system to prevent signal noise
and interruptions.
• This unit should not be used by persons who have heart pacemakers installed, since adverse affects
could occur.

Charging cable
• Do not use connectors on which the terminal section has been twisted.
• Do not wind the charging cable around the transmitter when using it. Abnormal heat may cause fire or
electric shock.
• When connecting the connector, check the connection direction and insert the connector directly.
• Do not allow fluids (sweat or drinking water) or foreign matter (small items of refuse or dust, metal, etc.)
to adhere to the connector section.
• If the connectors of the charging cable are kept in a dirty state, charging may not be possible. Keep the
connectors clean by wiping them occasionally with a soft dry cloth.

Internal Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery
• This device uses an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery that should last the lifetime of the device.
If you suspect your battery may be dead, try charging it several times. If the battery does not recharge,
please contact us for repair information.
• When disposing of used batteries, please comply with governmental regulations or environmental public
institution's rules that apply in your country / area. If you have any doubts, please contact the service
center and do not attempt to remove the lithium-ion battery by yourself.
Waterproof properties of this unit
CAUTION
This unit has IPX4-equivalent waterproof properties as specified under IEC 60529. Please check the
following cautions.
• This unit is not completely waterproof. Do not use it in water or accidentally drop it in water.
• For satisfactory waterproofing performance, use the speakers in an upright position with the waterproof
cap firmly closed.
• The terminals (AC IN, USB charging, AUDIO input, and MIC input) and accessories of this unit are not
waterproof. Do not expose the unit to water when using any of the terminals.
• Do not connect cables to the unit when it is wet. When connecting to AC power, ensure the connectors
are dry before connecting.
Pole-mount socket
CAUTION
This unit can be pole-mounted using the 35-mm diameter pole-mount socket on the bottom of the unit. When
mounting on a speaker pole (stand), please check the following cautions and install the unit safely.
• Please have installation work performed by a specialist technician.
• Be sure to give due consideration to safety when lifting the speakers up.
• Use a speaker pole (stand) with a 35-mm diameter.
• Be sure to check the load capacity and mounting methods for the speaker pole (stand) you intend to use.
• When mounting on a pole, install the pole in a stable location. Be sure to check that there is no possibility
that it may fall over.

• Bundle cables with tape or cable ties and place them out of the way to ensure that people do not trip on
