LINER POSITIONING CONTROL ( LPC )
1
ADJUSTING THE LINER POSITION
The different anatomic shape of riders heads at times requires the position of the hel-
met to be adapted to the specific head. The LINER POSITIONING CONTROL (LPC)
enables liner position adjustment. This means that helmet fit on your head can even
be improved with respect to the standard one, thus making it perfect for any exigence.
To adjust the liner, deactivate the VPS, open the chin strap (see relevant instructions)
and proceed as follows.
1.1 Overturn one side of the upper part of the padding and unhook the front circular
button for adjusting the liner below it from the underlying longitudinal plastic sup-
port with seven holes (Fig. 23).
1.2 Move the circular button along the longitudinal plastic support and re-hook it in
one of the two following holes (Fig.24).
1.3 Repeat the process of points 1.1 and 1.2 with the rear circular button located
below the padding (Fig.25). By pulling the two adjustment snaps of the liner, the
helmet is gradually positioned higher on the head.
1.4 After correctly fastening both adjustment snaps of the liner to the longitudinal
plastic support, fold and lay the upper padding to the correct position.
1.5 Wear the helmet and ensure that the positioning and comfort suit your head. If not,
adjust it again.
WARNING
After adjusting the liner position, put on and fasten the helmet to check the correct
adjustment of the chin strap (see specific instruction label under www.nolan-helmets.
com). Check also the correct helmet fit on your head in riding position setup, as well
as its easy taking off (see "CHOOSING AND CHECKING THE RIGHT HELMET FEA-
TURES" detailed above).
EYEWEAR ADAPTIVE
1
CREATING SPACE FOR GLASSES
1.1 Remove the left cheek pad from the helmet (see instructions above).
1.2 Remove the inner expanding foam cheek pad padding (see instructions above).
3.3. Remove the upper part of the pre-punched inner padding (Fig.26), then properly
reposition the remaining part of the padding in the cheek pad.
It is recommended that you keep the removed padding for any subsequent
reuse.
1.4 Assemble the inner expanding foam cheek padding (see instructions above).
1.5 Reassemble the full cheek pad on the helmet (see instructions above).
1.6 Follow these operations with the right cheek pad padding.
