Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
• To prevent the risk of electrocution, turn off and unplug
the unit from the mains socket before cleaning.
• Let the unit cool completely before cleaning and storing
it away.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the
thermostat knob-fitted heating element, power cable
or plug in water or any other liquid, as these contain
electrical components. Do not rinse them under the tap.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning
products, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads
to clean the unit.
• Clean the unit before first use and after each use.
• Remove the grills, heating element and drip tray, then clean
them as follows:

Cleaning method
• Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a small
amount of washing-up liquid. Dry it thoroughly.
• Wash thoroughly.
• If necessary, soak the grills and drip tray in soapy water
to soften any stubborn food residue.
• Rinse off with clean water.
• Once clean, dry all parts well.
