7.1 FEATURES OF THE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD
The Printed board, mounted in th e Electric Box is eith er a 'Standard Board' or a 'Board with
Options'.
The diff erence between th e two is th at th e 'Board with Options' has th e Volt Free Terminals
fi tted which are marked in th e diagram below. A dehumidifi er with LPHW fi tted will have a 'Board
with Options'.
Both versions of th e board have six small LEDs in th e bottom right hand corner. These
illuminate to show diff erent states and marked D1 to D6.

LED D1 IS LIT IF THE INTERNAL HUMIDISTAT IS CALLING FOR DEHUMIDIFICATION AND THE
D1
REMOTE HUMIDISTAT SWITCH IS CLOSED.*
LED D2 IS LIT IF THE DEHUMIDIFIER IS NOT IN
D2
DEFROST AND BOTH HUMIDSTATS ARE ACTIVE
LED D3 IS LIT WHEN THE HP SWITCH IS CLOSED,
THERE IS NO DEFROST THE DEHUMIDIFIER IS
D3
CALLING FOR DEHUMIDIFICATION AND THE REMOTE
HUMIDISTAT SWITCH IS CLOSED.
LED D4 IS LIT WHEN THE LP AND HP SWITCHES ARE
CLOSED, THERE IS NO DEFROST. THE DEHUMIDIFIER
IS CALLING FOR DEHUMIDIFICATION AND THE
D4
REMOTE HUMIDISTAT SWITCH IS CLOSED.
D5
LED D5 IS LIT IF THE DEHUMIDIFIER IS ASKING FOR THE COMPRESSOR TO BE RUNNING.
D6
LED D6 IS LIT IF THE REMOTE ROOM THERMOSTAT IS CALLING FOR HEATING.
*THE REMOTE HUMIDISTAT IS CONSIDERED TO BE ACTIVE WHEN THE WIRE LINK IS FITTED TO
TERMINALS 5 AND 6 ON THE TERMINAL BLOCK SEE THE WIRING DIAGRAM
