1.2
Intended use
The immersion pump is intended predominantly for
pumping liquids from common tanks or IBCs.
Permissible ambient temperatures:
-10 °C to +35 °C
Permissible media temperature: Depending on the
medium (hazard class A II to A III)
-10 °C to +35 °C
Permissible operating time:
• 60 minutes during normal operation
Danger of explosion!
Do not pump any impermissibly heated
media.
i
Important:
Operation in explosion-endangered areas
is not permitted.
i
Important:
Only a clean medium may be used.
i
Important:
Prolonged dry operation can destroy the
pump.
Proper use refers (preferably) to the following
liquids with a flashpoint > 55 °C:
•
diesel fuel
•
fuel oil
•
Biodiesel
1.2.1
Summary
Any other use is not intended!
For safety reasons, it is not permitted to make any
modifications to the immersion pump. The intended
use assumes compliance with all information in
these operating instructions.

Inappropriate use
i
Important:
Inappropriate use also includes failure
to comply with the information in these
operating instructions.
F u r t h e r m o r e :
•
Non-observance of the respective applicable
national regulations.
•
Pumping of any other liquids than those named
under proper use, e.g.: corrosive, highly flam-
mable or explosive substances (e.g. petrol,
paraffin, cellulose thinner), fats, oils, seawater.
•
The immersion pump is not suitable for uninter-
rupted pumping operation.
